Prices

Prices on this site are estimates for planning a budget. They are not live prices and may differ from what you see at the retailer. Always check the current price and product details on the retailer's page before buying.

What we collect

BuildYourComputer.com has no accounts, sign-ups or forms, and we don't collect personal information. The build you're working on is saved in your own browser (local storage) so it's still there when you come back. It never leaves your device unless you share a build link.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across sites, and doesn't collect personal information.

Shared build links contain only short part codes, for example /b/020v1a, and no personal information.

Third-party sites

Links to Amazon and other retailers take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies and may set cookies, including cookies used to attribute affiliate purchases. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.
